SIG Sauer P226 by Capt-Morgan SIG Sauer P226 by Capt-Morgan
One of my favorite pistols, along with a nice little CRKT First Strike sheath-knife.

Playing around trying to get my tactical gear photography style down. Oh, had to include my tactical vest with the pirate flag, of course. :ahoy:

The Schweizerische Industrie Gesellschaft (SIG)-Sauer P226 is a full-sized, service type pistol originally chambered for 9 mm Luger. Its design is based on the venerable SIG-Sauer P220. The P226 has come to be known as one of the most distinguished combat pistols in existence because of its reliability and durability.

The P226 is currently in the arsenals of such elite groups as the U.S. Navy SEALs, France's GIGN, Japan's Special Assault Team, the British and Australian SAS, and such law enforcement agencies as the Texas Rangers and Texas DPS, and as of 2006 it is coming into general issue with the Canadian Forces.

I have that exact knife. I really should've bought it online for $30. But I was foolish, and ended up buying it from a dealer for $70. The shame....

I've taken Electronic Arts (ART 130, I believe) and I think a couple more, but they were obviously not amazing enough for my to remember. LOL!

Last semester I took Intermediate Electronic Arts and, yeah, Computer Generated Imaging with Brad Swardson.

I'd imagine you've seen me on campus. Not too too many people walking around with long hair (sometimes wearing a Nave SEALs hat, though I currently have no formal military background.), usually wearing black pants, combat boots, and usually black tee shirts. :)

brad swardson's class was amazing. i had taken that class several times before with sherryl hurley. great woman, lousy teacher. i learned more in just one class with brad than i did those times before with sherryl. sherryl knew her stuff, but not how to teach it.

know how hard it is for women to find cool combat boots? i settled for ebay once, but the seller didn't post the right size.

My hat is off to you, Sir, in recognition of your good taste!
I have a First Strike and love it! If Sig would make a 220-series in 10mm I'd be first in line for that!

Why, thank you. My big beef against the 220 series is that it's only single stack - there's totally enough room in there for a thin-ish double stack... Other than than, I freakin' love their pistols.

A single-stack magazine in a carry gun is good motivation for more practice, to make every shot count! My carry guns are a Taurus 5-shot .38+p and a S&W 1911PD. If I had a spare mag for it, I'd carry my Coonan Cadet, it's that awesome!

For carry, I'd prefer a 1911 over a 220 or 226 (definitely over the 226). 7+1 of 45 out of a classic pistol is hard to argue with.

S&W 1911PD? Very nice. Definitely one of my favorite 1911 pistols. I think I'm gonna have to get a Wilson Elite Professional in black. [slobber slobber]

The only reason I like the double/single-action .45s is it's much easier to transition between them and a revolver, because I've added a stainless CA Bulldog in .44 special to my carry catalog. It even fits in the same IWB holster as the Taurus.

Wilson Combat! SPOING!! I was recently drooling over the Damascus slides that Caspian sell! I really want to build my own 1911 from the ground up, which I will probably try early next year.

Keep the faith!:headbang:

Isn't it? Good choice! :ahoy: I was lucky enough to get it on sale for something like $20! It's an excellent knife and beefy as heck.
